Event Details

The early childhood classroom is often called “the third teacher”.  Therefore, it is crucial to be purposeful and intentional in setting up that environment.  This session provides a general overview of the key elements for creating a classroom that allows children to feel safe, gain independence and engage with people and materials to foster learning.  Participants will have the opportunity to apply what is learned as they analyze their own environments regarding health and safety, physical arrangement, consideration of children’s perspectives, and appropriate learning materials. This course is designed for Early Head Start and Head Start staff as well as directors and administrators.

Who Should Attend: This course is designed for Early Head Start and Head Start staff as well as directors and administrators.
