To be eligible for inclusion in the Head Start Market Place, your organization must: 

• Provide products or services directly relevant to Head Start programs.
• Be committed to the health, care and development of children aged 0-5, particularly children experiencing poverty, and their families. 
• Be committed to ethical and equitable business practices.
• Provide products and/or services that are safe, reliable and maintain a high standard of customer service and satisfaction.
• Not sell or promote, directly or through subsidiaries: 
  • Alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, or firearms of any kind.
  • Consumable products that are inconsistent with nutritional standards for infants and young children.
  • Products or services that could be perceived as dangerous, unhealthy, or environmentally unsafe.
  • Products or services deemed inappropriate for or irrelevant to the children and families served by Head Start.

Head Start California reserves the right to refuse to list any organization without cause.
