Step Right Up: A Conference to Remember

What an incredible few days together!

From dynamic keynote speakers to engaging breakout sessions, this year’s Annual Conference delivered powerful, practical learning for Parents and Family Engagement staff as well as Head Start educators. As one attendee shared, “There were many choices of workshops to attend and the facilitators were so great.” Our pre/ post-conference training added even more depth, allowing participants to dive deeper into building family/staff partnerships and walk away with tools they can immediately put into practice.

Beyond the sessions, the energy continued in the exhibit hall, where our community partners and vendors provided valuable resources and hands-on support. And yes — Nutella the cow from the Dairy Council was an undeniable highlight!

The carnival-themed receptions with a balloon artist, magician and carnival games brought connection and joy to life. One participant described the welcome reception as “TONS of fun,” and many shared how meaningful it was to connect with colleagues across the state — “Reminding us that we are all in it together!”

To our attendees, speakers, exhibitors, volunteers, and planning committee — thank you! Your passion, expertise, and commitment made this event truly special.
